For the system to be able to perform the compare step of comparing a student's submission to their authentic student writing profile (digital fingerprint), we need to upload this into the application.

*Note: this is likely an annual task based on the requirements of your organization

Steps to Upload Authentic Writing

Uploading historic writing samples for each student can be done through the standalone application.

  1. Navigate to the History tab on the left side of the screen
  2. Identify the user that you want to upload a history for, and click the upload-button

If the user already has histories uploaded and you want to replace these, click the red delete-button.

  1. Specify the language of the historical writing sample and choose the file in the file-selector.

  1. Upload the specified file.

The historical writing sample is now uploaded and linked to the user. Any subsequent submissions from this user will have its content verified against this history.
