Grading Student Submissions

This is currently a manual process between the Nor Education application and the Moodle Gradebook.

This is a two step process whereby:

• the instructor will need to download the assessment from the Nor Education assessment
• The second step is to create manually graded items within the Moodle Gradebook as an independent step.

Download the assessment

• To down the submissions of an assessment click on the appropriate assignment within your Moodle Course

You will then see all student submissions listed for this assignment.

Next click the Candidate number/name on the left of the page. This will enter you into the detailed user report for each student’s submission.

At the bottom of the page you will see the File section. Within this section you can click “Download”, which will down load the submission to your local device so that you can review to grade this.

Create Manually Graded Items

To add Grades into Moodle for this assessment, the instructor will need to go into the appropriate course and create a new assessment within the Gradebook to add the grades manually from the above assessment.
